Compact new DMMs offer true rms
measurements

Fluke (UK) has introduced the Fluke 110 Series Digital Multimeters, offering true rms measurements, safety and ease-of-use, compact design and traditional Fluke quality

Fluke (UK), a world leader in compact, professional electronic test tools, has introduced the Fluke 110 Series Digital Multimeters (DMMs), a new line of test tools designed for industrial, electrical and electronic technicians with hands-free operation Offering true rms measurements, safety and ease-of-use, compact design and traditional Fluke quality, the full-function DMMs are all available from Fluke distributors at prices between £73 and £106

The Fluke 110 Series, comprising the 110, 111 and 112 models, offers professional users a value-packed meter for versatile troubleshooting.

The 110 Series design is based on intensive research into what digital multimeter users in the target price category want.

They want DMMs that are compact, offer a straightforward user interface and include features and quality that previously only were found in higher priced DMMs.

That's what the 110 Series delivers.

Backed with a three-year warranty, the Fluke 110 Series features true rms measurements, a 0.7% basic DC accuracy, 6000 counts of resolution and even a backlit display on the top model.

All meters measure AC and DC voltages up to 600V as well as resistance, frequency and capacitance up to 40MW, 50kHz and 10.000mF.

With the exception of the entry-model 110, the 110-series also measures AC and DC current up to 10A.

In addition, the meters offer Min/Max/Avg recording and Display Hold for enhanced troubleshooting.

A key feature of the 110 Series is its size.

It is very compact but still provides the user with the safety and reliability that is expected from a Fluke meter.

The rugged case, with separate protective holster, protects the meter in harsh environments and extensive safety features are built in to ensure that the unit complies with the EN61010 safety standard for industrial and electrical applications.

Probe holders are conveniently moulded into the back of the holster and the case offers an innovative battery access door.

This allows users to change batteries without opening the complete case and breaking the calibration seal.

In response to user requests, Fluke designed ToolPak? compatibility into the 110 Series.

The ToolPak? option provides a convenient strap and magnet hanger system for maximum versatility, freeing the user's hands to hold both test leads for safe and effective operation.

As a company, Fluke Corporation has long focused on safety in all its products, and has sought industry-wide protection measures to help ensure safe working conditions and product specifications for electrical technicians.

The new meters comply with the EN61010 standard, which addresses CAT III overvoltage requirements.

All inputs are designed to withstand an impulse voltage in excess of 6 kV, which complies with CAT III 600V requirements.

The Fluke 110 Series is now available from Fluke distributors and representatives worldwide.

The list prices for the Fluke 110 Series are: 110 - ?73; 111 - ?95; 112 - ?106. Request a free brochure from Fluke (UK) ...
