Rugged temperature calibrator ideal for the field
Designed for process instrument technicians, the Fluke 724 Temperature Calibrator can test and calibrate almost any temperature instrument.
It is designed to help engineers, designers, consultants, contractors and facilities managers to recognise, diagnose and evaluate power quality and EMC problems in their installations.
The Leonardo Power Quality Initiative is supported by the European Commission and by the International Copper Association, with partners throughout Europe who include training organisations, engineering companies, leading academics, vocational training institutes and engineering consultancies.
The project is promoted in the UK by the Power Quality Partnership, founded by The Copper Development Association with leading power quality solutions providers including Fluke.
Increasingly, the cost of poor electrical power quality is a bottom-line issue for industry and service companies, with around 50% of buildings suffering from severe power quality problems.
It is estimated that the cost to European industry is over Eur 10 billion per year.
The seminar and distance-learning LPQI training programme is aimed at reaching 250,000 users per year, providing participants with the knowledge and vocabulary to lead an on-site power quality solutions team.
Benefits to participating organisations include reduced downtime, increased productivity and reduced waste by avoiding investment in the wrong solutions.
The rugged and compact handheld Fluke 43B power quality analyser is the ideal tool to quickly solve many common problems in the power domain: tripping circuit breakers, overheating transformers and cables, motors that burn out, lamps that flicker and computers that fail with no visible cause.
With its ability to show current and voltage waveforms, calculate power parameters and capture voltage sags and swells, transients and inrush currents, underlying power quality problems can be identified, so that the appropriate corrective measures can be taken.
