CAT IV safety rating on new digital multimeters
Fluke has introduced the 170 Series Digital Multimeters with lifetime warranties and the latest category IV safety ratings, designed for use up to 1000V and 10A AC or DC
The Fluke T3 tester is a well-proven, rugged Category III voltage and continuity tester which gives instant readings of AC or DC volts, or gives an audible indication of an open circuit.
The user simply probes the circuit and the meter operates: there are no buttons to push and no knobs to turn.
The compact Fluke T3 voltage and continuity tester weighs just 200g and features seven different LED AC and DC nominal voltage level indicators, plus a DC polarity indicator.
It is protected to 1000V for use in Category III environments.
The AC range steps from 12V to 690V, while the DC range goes from 6V to 220V.
When the probe tips are touched, the "auto-on" light will function, showing that the batteries are live and the unit is active.
The light will turn off after approximately 8min of inactivity.
Battery life is rated at 350h.
The T3 meter and pouch together are offered at just GBP 38. Request a free brochure from Fluke (UK) ...
