Fluke is offering a 24% saving for electronics technicians when purchasing a kit containing a category IV safety-rated digital multimeter (DMM), an integrated temperature probe, a set of silicone test leads and hook clips, and alternative leads with special electronic test probes.
The kit is supplied complete in a convenient hard carrying case.
The Fluke Electronics Combo Kit contains the top-of-the-range 179 DMM, a true-RMS meter which comes with Fluke's unique lifetime warranty.
The 179 is a precision measurement tool designed specifically for demanding frontline electronic technicians.
Offering 0.09% basic DC accuracy, it has a large, easy-to-read, 6000-count backlit display and features an analogue bargraph.
Frequency, capacitance and resistance ranges are up to 100kHz, 10,000uF and 50Mohm, respectively, and temperatures up to +260C can be read with the plug-in Fluke 80BK thermocouple probe.
The Fluke 179 has an ergonomically tapered-case design that incorporates an integrated protective holster for use even in very harsh environments.
In addition, the meter offers enhanced troubleshooting features which include min/max/avg recording, with an audible warning, autohold, and display hold.
Included in the Electronics Combo Kit are a Fluke C800 hard meter and accessory case; a set of the latest 1.5m long TL224 SureGrip silicone test leads; a pair of TL910 electronic test probes offering 1mm replaceable steel and spring loaded gold tips; and an AC280 SureGrip hook set offering a 6.4mm opening.
