Fluke has introduced a new electrical diagnostic meter for the automotive market With enhanced functionality such as temperature probing and improved back lighting, the new digital multimeter is offered as part of a complete kit at a significantly reduced price compared with the kit it replaces

The new Fluke 88 V/A Automotive Combo Kit includes the new Fluke 88 V automotive digital multimeter (DMM).

As part of the recently introduced Fluke 80 Series V DMMs, the 88 V also offers the same enhanced features with a larger display unit and two-level white backlight, enabling clear reading even in very low light environments.

Measurements include volts, ohms, temperature, diode test, duty cycle and frequency.

A plug-in inductive rpm probe enables easy engine speed measurements: a plug-in temperature probe enables rapid temperature measurement.

Min/max/avg recording capabilities facilitate rapid diagnosis, with the peak min-max on the 88 V capturing events as short 250us.

The complete Fluke 88 V/A kit comprises the 88 V automotive meter, an 80PK temperature probe, an RPM80 inductive rpm pickup probe, SureGrip TL224 silicone test leads, SureGrip TL220 test probes, SureGrip AC285 alligator clips, a magnetic hanger to hold the meter on a metal surface for hands free probing, and a C800 case to carry the meter and all its accessories.
