Indicator measures three phase rotation

A new phase rotation indicator helps troubleshoot supplies to motors, drives and electrical systems.

Fluke has added another handheld product for the professional electrician and industrial technician, a phase rotation indicator for determining supplies to motors, drives and electrical systems The tester features an LCD to provide a safe, rapid determination of phase sequence when installing and servicing three-phase electrical systems

The new, rugged Fluke 9040 phase rotation indicator measures the phase rotation on three-phase electrical supplies and indicates the presence of the three phases, and the phase rotation, on a clear LCD.

The 9040 works within a 40 to 700V range, making it suitable for commercial and industrial applications.

It is powered from the circuit under test, so does not require a battery.

The fitted leads have test probes with variable clamping ranges, ensuring safe contact even in industrial sockets.

The Fluke 9040 measures 220 x 165 x 65mm and weighs around 600g.
