Rugged, pocket-sized, temperature humidity meter for professionals in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning, building maintenance and indoor air quality fields.

Fluke has introduced a temperature humidity meter.

The rugged, pocket-sized test tool is for professionals in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), building maintenance and indoor air quality fields.

The Fluke 971 meter measures ambient, dew point and wet bulb temperatures between -20 and +60C and provides a read-out of relative humidity from 5 to 95%, +/-2.5% RH.

It has hold, minimum/maximum and save and recall buttons.

Its 99-point data storage capacity means users can take multiple readings and store them for later recall and analysis.

It has an LCD with backlight and low battery indicator, and operates on four AAA alkaline batteries.

It provides technicians and building managers with an accurate, simple tool to ensure HVAC systems are operating within specification.

Industrial hygienists will find it useful for identifying conditions that encourage biological growth, and verifying that measures to control humidity are working.
