Power analyser provides solid evidence

The new, rugged LEM Topas 2000 power quality analyser is an enhanced version of the high-end LEM Topas.

The versatile measurement algorithms and trigger settings allow the expert user to optimise the Topas 2000 for each application to capture exactly the data required.
With the GPS (DCF77) option, accuracy of time registration is better than 1us.
An accurate 'time stamp' is placed on all recorded events, enabling the source of a disturbance to be located by comparing recordings with time stamps taken at different locations.
The Topas 2000 can analyse disturbances and their causes, assess reserves of transformers/feeders, carry out transient analysis, detect interference and power peaks, measure ripple control systems, and record day extreme values and load profiles.
The eight-channel instrument can measure four currents and four voltages, or eight voltages.
Powerful analysis software with a report writer is included.
The Topas 2000's precision data logger records measurement data for extended periods.
Data can be transferred to a computer directly or through an integrated Ethernet network, even while the instrument continues to record.
The LEM Topas 2000 and its accessories and power supply are safety rated to Cat III 600V, and conform to EN61010-1.
Housed in an electrically insulated case, the rugged construction is built to IP50 for working in harsh environments.
With a 1Gbyte CompactFlash memory there are no rotating parts inside the instrument, increasing its reliability and durability over a temperature range from 0 to 50C.
The Topas 2000 is available as a basic unit that can be expanded with various options and accessories as required.
