Electrical combo kit for troubleshooting and preventative maintenance includes a combined insulation tester and full-featured multimeter, current clamp and infra-red thermometer in a rugged case.

Fluke has introduced an electrical combo kit aimed at troubleshooting and preventative maintenance applications The kit includes a combined insulation tester and full-featured multimeter, current clamp and infra-red thermometer in a rugged case

The kit is for electrical contractors as well as field service and maintenance electricians and technicians.

The Fluke 1587ET Advanced Electrical Troubleshooting Kit includes a Fluke 1587 insulation multimeter for identifying electrical problems on motors, cables and switchgear.

It combines insulation test measurements, from 0.01MW to 2GW at test voltages in five steps from 50 to 1000V, with the capability of a high end digital multimeter.

For adjustable speed motor drives, it has an integral selectable low pass filter which blocks unwanted high frequencies to provide accurate and stable measurements of AC voltage and frequency.

The 1587 has Cat III 1000V and CatT IV 600V overvoltage ratings and a large display with a bright backlight.

The i400 current clamp operates with the 1587 to provide 1A to 400A AC measurement for conductors up to 32mm in diameter, with a similar Cat III 1000V and Cat IV 600V overvoltage safety rating.

The Fluke 62 Mini infra-red thermometer provides quick and reliable non-contact surface temperature readings from -30 to +500C.

A dual display shows both the current and maximum measurements.

The kit consists of all three meters with user manuals in a rugged, hard case. Request a free brochure from Fluke (UK) ...
