Thermometer combines two in one

Combining an infra-red noncontact thermometer with a plug-in K-type thermocouple for contact measurement, a lightweight handheld tool is ideal for HVAC professionals.

Fluke has introduced a rugged, precision, two-in-one thermometer for HVAC technicians Combining an infra-red noncontact thermometer with a plug-in, K-type thermocouple for contact measurement, the lightweight, handheld tool is an ideal addition to the HVAC professional's tool bag

A useful applications guide encourages use of the thermometer to its maximum potential.

The new Fluke 561/HVACPro two-in-one thermometer offers +/-1% accuracy infra-red temperature measurement for instant readings of hard-to-reach, hot, rotating or electrically charged objects, allowing measurement at a safe distance and usually without the need for a ladder.

The Velcro-covered, K-type thermocouple pipe probe enables contact measurement of pipes, metallic surfaces and air streams, with a built-in differential temperature function providing quick and accurate measurements for superheat and subcooling pipes.

Other industry-standard K-type thermocouples can be also used with the Fluke 561 for specific applications.

A single laser pointer provides accurate target sighting.

A large number of objects can be scanned quickly and efficiently.

Other valuable features of the state-of-the-art Fluke HVACPro include an emissivity selector, and automatic calculation and display of max/min IR readings together with their difference.

The simple to operate emissivity selector offers high/medium/low settings to compensate for the different metallic surface finishes met in the field.

The Fluke 561/HVACPro weighs just 340g and comes complete with a Velcro K-type thermocouple pipe probe, a durable hard case, batteries and user manual with many application instructions.

It can be purchased from any Fluke authorised distributor at a recommended list price of just GBP 99.

A holster and a range of additional K-type thermocouples are optional. Request a free brochure from Fluke (UK) ...
