Earth ground resistance measured without
stakes

Earth ground testers perform all four types of ground resistance measurements quickly and conveniently.

Fluke has introduced two earth ground testers that perform all four types of ground resistance measurements quickly and conveniently Using just two clamp meters, in a unique, time-saving technique called "stakeless" testing, the Fluke 1623 basic earth ground tester and the Fluke 1625 advanced earth ground tester are able to measure earth ground resistance without the use of earth ground stakes or the disconnection of ground rods

The Fluke 1625 offers the most complete solution for earth ground testing on the market.

Ideal for Preventative Maintenance programmes for industrial, field service and utility customers, the rugged Fluke 1623 and 1625 GEO earth ground testers perform all four types of earth ground measurement quickly and easily.

Along with stakeless testing (possible as long as a bonded earth ground system exists for the building or structure under test), both models also offer testing with stakes - "selective" earth resistance measurement with one clamp, the classic 3- and 4-pole Fall of Potential testing, and 4-pole soil resistivity testing.

Ease of use is ensured - when carrying out each test the user is informed, via a clear display, which stakes or clamps need to be connected.

A large rotary switch facilitates gloved selection of each function.

Advanced features of the 1625 also include automatic frequency control (AFC) which identifies interference and chooses a measuring frequency to minimise its effect; measurement of earth ground impedance at 55Hz to more accurately reflect the impedance that a fault-to-earth would face; and adjustable limits for quicker testing.

Both models are IP56 rated for outdoor use and come complete with test leads, four earth ground stakes, three cable reels with wire, two clamps, batteries, and a manual - all inside a rugged Fluke carrying case. Request a free brochure from Fluke (UK) ...
