Thermal imagers provide easy building
checks

Fluke TiR1 and TiR thermal imagers can be used for detection of wet areas in roofing surveys, for energy audits and other moisture and mould issues in walls, ceilings and floors

Fluke has releaesd the Fluke TiR1 and TiR thermal imagers, designed as affordable solutions for building diagnostic and roofing professionals and restoration and remediation specialists Both models incorporate IR Fusion, a technology that integrates infra-red and visual (visible light) images in full screen or picture-in-picture views for enhanced problem detection and analysis

Built to withstand harsh work environments, the new thermal imagers are easy to use for applications including detection of wet areas in roofing surveys, for energy audits and other moisture and mould in walls, ceilings and floors.

The Fluke TiR1 and TiR feature a three-button menu designed for intuitive operation and navigation with the push of a thumb, plus the ability to record and save a voice message with every image taken (TiR1 only) and on-screen emissivity correction (TiR1 only).

With a widescreen, full-colour LCD display, optimised thermal sensitivity and a temperature measurement range of -20 to +100C, the thermal imagers are suitable for most building diagnostics applications, allowing users to operate from a safe distance and still see small temperature differences.

The thermal imagers are tested to withstand a drop of 2m and have an IP54 rating to withstand water and dust ingression.

Fluke SmartView software (with free software upgrades for the life of the product) is included with each thermal imager.

A modular suite of tools for viewing, annotating, editing and analysing infra-red images, SmartView software fully supports Fluke IR-Fusion technology, enabling users to edit images in five viewing modes and generate customised reports in a few steps.

IR-Fusion uses a image correction method to exactly overlay the visual and thermal image on top of each other, independent of the measurement distance.

This makes it easier to identify details and potential problems by managing and analysing images with complete control over both the infra-red and visual spectrums.

The ability to fuse images on-camera and optimise images in real-time improves primary target identification, enhances issue locating efficiency and offers an advantage in reporting clarity.

Both the TiR1 and TiR thermal imagers include a 2Gbyte SD memory card that will store at least 3000 basic infrared images (.bmp file format) or 1200 fully radiometric (.is2 IR Fusion file format) infra-red and linked visual images each with 60 seconds of voice annotation (TiR1 only), as well as an SD card reader (USB) for downloading images into a computer.

A durable lens cover protects the unit when not in use and is firmly stored during operation to avoid interference while images are taken.

The cameras come with a rugged hard carry case and a soft transport bag, an adjustable hand strap for right or left-handed use, a rechargeable internal battery and AC power supply/battery charger (including mains adapters). Request a free brochure from Fluke (UK) ...
