Fluke is offering two special promotion bundles that include a free strap and magnetic tool-hanging solution - a Fluke TPAK - for safe, hands-free metering.
For a limited period, Fluke is offering a Fluke TPAK with a Fluke 117 digital multimeter (DMM) or a Fluke 1587 insulation multimeter.
he bundled Fluke Multimeters with a free Fluke TPAK can be purchased, using special part numbers Fluke 117/TPAK and Fluke 1587/TPAK, from Fluke authorised distributors and wholesalers until the 30 June.
The Fluke TPAK is a kit that includes two universal hanging clips, two lengths of loop straps with hooks and a strong magnet.
This enables the user to hang a meter close to the place of measurement while freeing both hands so as to focus on safe working.
The Fluke 117 electrician's true-RMS DMM features non-contact voltage detection that quickly and safely senses the presence of AC voltage, and an auto-volt detection function that selects AC or DC voltage automatically.
It measures up to 600V and 10A AC/DC, as well as resistance, frequency, capacitance and diode test.
Ideally suited for use in commercial as well as non-commercial settings such as hospitals and schools, the Fluke 117 has a large-digit, easy-to-read, backlit display with analogue bargraph, and a CAT III 600V safety rating.
The Fluke 1587 insulation multimeter combines a 1kV insulation tester with a fully featured, true-RMS, DMM ideal for troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on motors, generators, cables and switchgear.
With CAT III 1000V, CAT IV 600V safety ratings, it provides insulation test measurements from 0.01MW to 2GW at test voltages in five steps from 50V to 1000V.
A live-circuit detection capability protects the user by preventing insulation test if a voltage greater than 30V is present, and the meter also auto-discharges capacitive voltages.
It features a large display with bright backlight for easy reading even in low light conditions.
Like the Fluke 87V it also delivers accurate and stable voltage and frequency readings with difficult adjustable speed drive (ASD) measurements.
