Trade-in offer for Fluke 1652B and 1653B testers

A Fluke (UK) product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Sep 8, 2009

For a limited period, customers buying a new Fluke 1652B or 1653B Multifunction Installation Tester can claim GBP100 or a free Fluke 115 Digital Multimeter (DMM) when trading in an old tester.

After purchase, the customer simply completes a voucher and sends either an old multifunction installation tester or two single-function installation testers, plus proof of purchase of the new tester, directly to Fluke to make the claim.

The Fluke 1653B can test most electrical wiring installations and is equipped with a built-in memory to store test results on site

The rugged, easy-to-use Fluke 1650B Series builds on the rugged performance of the earlier 1650 Series, but has been redesigned to make testing even more productive.

The testers ensure that fixed wiring is safe and correctly installed to meet the BS7671 17th edition wiring regulations as well as IEC 60364 and HD 384.

The Fluke 1653B is the complete tester for most electrical wiring installations, for domestic, commercial and industrial use: it is equipped with a built-in memory to quickly and easily store test results on site.

The data can be uploaded to a computer after testing for the preparation of professional reports.

The 1652B is the ideal tester for the professional working in domestic and commercial installations.

The Fluke 115 DMM is ideal for technicians carrying out electrical and electronic testing in field service and industrial applications.

The Fluke 1650B Series shows two measurements at once, PEFC/PSC and loop impedance results in parallel, removing the need to run the tests separately, more than halving the test time of other loop testers.

There is a 'pass/fail' indication for RCD test results and a variable RCD current mode for customised settings.

In addition there is fast voltage measurement between L-N, L-PE and N-PE using the mains lead, with no need to change measurement connections.

The instruments are supplied as standard with fused test leads to comply with HSE guidance note GS38.

For ease of use, a rotary dial indicates which function is selected and provides access to all functions in one place to avoid complex multi-level menus, so that even after a long period of non-use the Fluke 1650B remains intuitive to use.

A large display with backlight uses clear symbols and has an exceptionally wide viewing angle for easy and safe readings.

It is compact, lightweight (less than 1.2kg) and has a padded neck-strap to free testers' hands.

A slim probe with test button supplied with the 1652B and 1653B enables initiation of a test without the need to access or reference to the front panel when probing hard-to-reach points.
