For a limited period, Fluke is offering its 6500 Portable Appliance Tester starter kit for the same price as the Fluke 6500 on its own.
This kit includes the accessories required to carry out professional PAT testing services.
The Fluke 6500 PAT tester includes pre-set and user-programmable test sequences that can be initiated by a single button
The Fluke 6500 PAT tester features all the required tests to comply with the most recent revisions to the IET Code of Practice.
It conforms to safety standard EN61010.
The Fluke 6500/Basic Kit includes the fully automatic Fluke 6500 PAT tester with pre-set and user-programmable test sequences, which are initiated from a single button - speeding up test procedures and reducing time on site.
The 6500 features an integral QWERTY keyboard for rapid data entry plus a large backlit graphics display for showing informative help screens and detailed data formats.
A compact flash memory facility backs up the internal memory and transfers measurement data to a PC.
The kit also includes Fluke PowerPAT Plus management software, which can be used to store all the records from a number of sites and produce separate reports for each site, appliance Pass labels and an extension lead test adaptor.
The Fluke 6500 offers 25A and 200mA earth bond tests, insulation test, touch current test, substitute current test, load/leakage test, PELV test, IEC lead test and extension lead testing.
It features a built-in carrying handle and weighs only 3kg.
The Fluke 6500/Basic Kit is supplied in a separate protective hard carrying case with test leads, test probe, crocodile clip and user manual; the case provides space to carry other test tools.
