Electromagnetic flowmeter measures channel flow

Yorkshire Water is using a ChannelMag "pulsed AC" magnetic flowmeter from Arkon Flow Systems to measure raw sewerage in a 3m-wide channel at Esholt Sewage Treatment Works.

Yorkshire Water is using a ChannelMag "pulsed AC" magnetic flowmeter from Arkon Flow Systems to measure raw sewerage in a 3m-wide channel at Esholt Sewage Treatment Works.

The meter never needs cleaning irrespective of grease, algae or build up.

The magnetic field reaches all flowing media in the cross-section of the channel turning the channel into a full-bore meter.

Calibrated in a tow tank and also traceable to national standards ChannelMag is accurate to 2% of reading and guaranteed so at site conditions.

ChannelMag carries a 5 year warranty, is approved for use Zone II.

M-Certs has been applied for.
