Relay and timer specialists Finder plc has extended its range of relay interface modules by unveiling the 48.62 Series, capable of switching loads up to 10A.

Ideal for use in a wide range of applications including, industrial automation systems, PLCs, medical equipment, air conditioning and burners, with a width of just 15.8mm the 48.62 Series is ideal for use when space is at a premium.

Embracing all the accessories needed for a relay in one simple order package, the 48.62 Series includes a dedicated DIN rail mountable socket and retaining clip.

The socket employs jaw type clamps to accommodate two 'boot laces' for easy linking up of common terminals.

Rated at 10A 250V, the relay module is a double pole double throw (DPDT) device, with DC sensitive coil.

The module has a wide operating temperature range, of -400C to +700C, and as a result can be installed with confidence in equipment used in harsh environments.

Robust silver-nickel contacts ensure reliability and long-life, reducing the damaging effect of arcing and allow a maximum switching voltage of 400V.

The relay supplied with the 48.62 Series is the Finder 44 Series model.

As part of Finder's continued commitment to quality the 48.62 Series has touch-proof terminals to IP20 and is approved to 14 world-wide standards, including CE, BEAB, CSA, DEMKO, BBJ, RINA, cUL, UTE and VCE.
