Relay and timer manufacturer Finder has launched an interactive CD-ROM version of its 2001 catalogue, featuring an 'intelligent' search facility to match the relay and timer products most suitable for every application.
Designers and specifiers of electrical equipment can enter details of their specific application into the dynamic product search engine.
Once the information is submitted, at the touch of a button the entire Finder range is searched and the most suitable and applicable products are identified.
Up to ten categories can be used to tailor each search - ranging from; number of contacts and type of contact material required, through to nature of application, operating temperature and approvals needed - making Finder's CD-ROM the smart electronic partner for the industry.
Presented in a clear, ease to use format, the CD-ROM contains the latest information on Finder's range of PCB relays, relay interface modules, industrial relays, sockets and modules.
The full range of timers, suitable for residential and commercial applications, is also included.
More than just an electronic catalogue, the CD-ROM includes comprehensive data sheets and wiring diagrams, so that each product can be easily and confidently integrated into equipment and panels.
Product information, including accessories details and ordering information, can also be printed direct from the screen.
To assist designers further, a DXF (Drawing eXchange Format) file for each product can be downloaded for use in CAD applications.
