Relay and timer manufacturer Finder has unveiled a range of multi-voltage and multi-functional plug-in timers which are now suitable for 'front of panel' as well as 'back of panel' mounting.

Designed for electrical applications where accurately timed on/off control is required, the 88 Series is available in two versions each providing a host of functions and scalable time control from 0.05 seconds up to 100 hours.

The 88.02 is an 11-pin plug-in device supporting both AC and DC supply voltages from 24V to 230V.

Capable of switching currents of up to 8A at 250V AC, the two contact (DPDT) plug-in timer provides four functions: ON delay, Symmetrical recycler, ON pulse, OFF delay (external start).

The 8-pin 88.12 plug-in timer is capable of switching currents of up to 5A at 250V AC.

Supporting AC supply voltages from 24V to 230V and DC voltages from 24V to 48V, the 88.12 features two timed contacts, or one timed + one instantaneous contact.

Both ON delay and ON pulse are achievable with the 88.12 model - via either two timed contacts, or alternatively, one timed + one instantaneous contact.

Interchanging between the timer functions on the 88 Series is made simple via the clearly visible control dial.

Using a standard terminal screwdriver, the selection of function and time scales is achieved via simple rotary switches easily accessible on the front face of the timers.

Measuring 94x48x48mm, the plug-in timers can be either DIN rail or panel mounted using sockets available from the Finder 90 Series.

With a wide operating temperature of -10C to +55C and a mechanical life of 30 million operations, both models in the 88 Series are protected to IP40 and carry the CE approval rating.
