Providing increased functional flexibility and offering reduced inventory, the latest timer module from Finder is able to operate from any supply voltage.

Providing increased functional flexibility and offering reduced inventory, the latest timer module from Finder is able to operate from any supply voltage.

Plugging directly into the relay socket, it allows a standard relay to be used for a wide variety of timing functions.

Finder's 86 series timer module can be used with Finder 60 series two- and three-pole 10A relays, and also the 62 series two- and three-pole 16A power relays.

A total of eight timing functions both power and function initiated, together with seven time scales from 1s to 100h are thus provided.

The versatile module is able to operate from AC and DC supplies in the range 12 to 240V.

The function and time scale settings are readily accessible on the front of the module, yet are physically protected against accidental changes.

The module is easily retrofitted without any disturbance to installation wiring.

Compared with similar products from other manufacturers, the 86 series timer module offers a unique modular construction, has wider functionality, a broader range of time settings and is more competitively priced.

The 86 series timer module contains Finder's bespoke custom microelectronic control circuitry, and advanced wide range power control circuitry.

These features are unusual in that Finder has total in-house capability for the design, tooling and production of not only the timer, but also the associated relays and the dedicated sockets.

The result is consistent quality, and fully optimised solutions for timing functions on standard relays.

Aimed at panel builders and system builders, the multifunction 86 series module enables equipment builders and maintenance staff to reduce stocking levels, but maintain immediate access to a timer that can perform the required timing function.

The module is particularly useful for plant maintenance personnel, who are generally unable to predict what replacement part or function for a new system they may require at any particular time.
