Finder has promoted two of its senior executives in a move that reflects the company's move to becoming a "hub" for former commonwealth and English speaking territories.

The UK subsidiary of Finder in Italy, Finder plc will now be a focal point for the activities of Finder agents in Canada, South Africa, India, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Israel and the Republic of Ireland.

Ted Waller has been promoted to the position of Sales Manager.

He now takes responsibility for all sales activity in the UK and Ireland.

Waller has been running the company's field sales team since joining Finder in 2000.

Waller, who began his career as a BT trained technician, was previously in sales roles with industrial controls company IMO for 19 years culminating in regional manager position.

Norman Carnt becomes International Technical Manager providing technical support for customers and sales staff, and product training for Finder agents identified above.

The role is an expansion of the UK Technical Manager's position that he has held for the last three years.

Carnt has 40 years experience in the electrical controls industry, in both the manufacture of components and their usage and incorporation into equipment.

His experience has been largely gained in the industrial and commercial sectors, with applications ranging on a power scale from microwatt telecomms switching to 100kW motor control systems.
