The Electricians' Guide measures 16 x 11.5cm, making it easy for the electrician to carry in his or her pocket for quick reference when required.

Finder has released the Electricians' Guide, an 88-page pocket-sized handbook aimed at providing electricians with a handy reference to all the data they need to install the company's relay and lighting control products in a domestic or commercial environment.

The guide begins with an introduction to relay-controlled lighting systems, which includes a summary of the appropriate international standards and approvals and a discussion of the benefits of a relay system in comparison with a traditional wiring system.

The main part of the book then presents basic electrical parameters and detailed wiring diagrams for Finder's lighting control relays, light-dependent relays, staircase timers, step relays and dimmers, time switches and PIR movement detectors.

Sequencing tables are provided for the step relays.

Also included in the book are relay interface modules, level control relays and modular timers that, although designed for general and industrial use, can also find applications in a building environment.
