Compact OEM power pack produces 37.3kW

In addition, the package benefits from 50C, ambient air temperature cooling, ensuring that it can be exported to hot overseas climates.
Ease of maintenance is ensured with service access on one side of the unit.
Alan Hunt, Finning UK, Industrial OEM account manager commented: "The new modular power pack is an easy to install unit, requiring a starting battery and fuel tank capacity.
The pack is ideally suited for drill rigs, high-pressure water pumps, green waste shredders, wood chippers and other general industrial applications.
OEMs can take advantage of Caterpillar's emission technology and install an engine that is fully compliant with all legislation".

A full range of power packs from 15 to 45kW will be available from Finning (UK) by the end of 2003.
