Flojet PT braided packings are diagonally woven packings obtained from 100% virgin PTFE (Teflon) yarns, manufactured by Lenzing in Austria under the Lenzing PTFE brand.
They are suitable for use under following working conditions: temperature from -200 to 260C; pH range from 0 to 14; surface speed up to 10 m/s; and pressure up to 1850lb/in2.
All PTFE packings are braided on a 24-carrier four-track, Carter Bolton braiding machine.
Available in sizes from 3 to 30mm square, they can be supplied in spool packing to customer requirements.
In addition, pure Teflon fibres can be braided in combination with other fibres such as pure Aramid or PTFE/graphite for superior performance or economy or both.
Special dry packings and/or with hollow cores of Viton, silicon and PTFE can also be supplied on request.
