Modify interlock systems with minimal fuss
Modules from the Amgard modular interlocking system can be retro-fitted to existing Amgard interlocks at a later date, allowing operators to modify interlocking systems with a minimum of fuss
The Amgard 2000 series includes all the options available with Amgard, such as tongue or handle actuator, internal release mechanism, and an override key switch.
Newly available are foot and cap units which allow the modules to be built into both electro-mechanical and trapped-key systems.
The addition of the trapped-key option ensures that the system can be adapted to suit almost any industrial application, however complex, and allows new units to be incorporated into existing systems as equipment and procedures are upgraded.
Ingress protected to IP67, Amgard 2000 modules are robust and are designed to tolerate extreme misalignment.
Dual channel safety circuitry and coded tamperproof locking mechanisms ensure complete operator safety whilst allowing rapid access to machinery, thus minimising costly production down time.
