The new Emco Vortex PhD shedding flowmeter, from Flowline Manufacturing, is intended for critical applications involving liquids, steam and air.

The new Emco Vortex PhD shedding flowmeter, from Flowline Manufacturing, is intended for critical applications involving liquids, steam and air.

It is the first product of its kind to have a fully welded, seal-less sensor construction.

Smart electronics provide excellent noise immunity and the transmitter gives frequency output, scaled frequency output, totaliser pulse or 4-20mA DC signal proportional to flow rate.

The flowmeter can also be supplied with integrated dual sensors for more complex control applications.

The unit also features high accuracy, wide rangeability and high temperature performance (to 400C).

It is available in a variety of wetted materials to suit most conditions.

For vital energy monitoring applications involving steam and compressed air Flowline can supply a complete management system comprising Emco Vortex PhD flow meter, flow processor, data acquisition unit, pressure/temperature instrumentation and software.
