Fozmula has released the T/LL200 Hydrostatic Liquid Level Sender, for tanks requiring continual level measurement.

It provides a voltage or 4-20mA output and is suitable for connecting into PLC or process-related applications.

The T/LL200 uses the hydrostatic method of measuring liquid depth.

It compensates for the effects of variable atmospheric pressure to give consistently precise results.

It offers scope for fewer errors compared with transducers that use absolute pressure-measuring methodology.

It is perfect for high performance, low-pressure applications.

It can be used in applications such as industrial tanks, off-highway and utility vehicles - including buses and coaches - construction equipment and diesel engines in temperature ranges of -20C to + 85C, sufficient for all fuel variants.

The T/LL200 features continuous signal output, making it suited to remote telemetry applications where a reading is taken at regular intervals to establish, for example, that fuel usage remains consistent or sudden increases that may have been caused by theft or the tank bursting.

The T/LL200 features a heavy gauge 316 stainless-steel transducer housing with tamper-proof, wire-gauze mesh at the mouth to prevent ingress of tank solids or sediment, which could otherwise affect or compromise the reading.

Other features include a choice of industry-standard signals of either 4-20mA or voltages of between 0-5V or 5-0V.

Fozmula carries out calibration to meet customer requirements for liquid type, liquid density and tank depth.

The header and transducer are connected via flexible polyurethane tubing, giving customers an opportunity to easily employ the technology in odd-shaped tanks or where internal obstructions such as baffles are fitted.

One size fits all.

It is suitable for deep or shallow storage tanks up to 4m (diesel) or down to 400mm.

It lets customers program their electronic controllers or systems to read the sensor as full anywhere between these heights.

The device can be easily fitted with an integral 1/2in BSPT thread or optional SAE five-holes flange.

It features a low-profile header designed for use in restricted areas.

The T/LL200's connector is compatible with Packard Metripac 150 series connectors for easy fitment.

It is also ingress protected to IP67.

Repairs and replacements can be handled quickly using stock parts.
