Fozmula has launched the T/LL171 improved range of liquid level sensors, designed for use in hot environments.

Based mechanically on one of Fozmula's capacitance switches, the basic on/off operation has been replaced with a continuous output of the tank contents level.

The signal is 4-20mA, but an optional 1-5V can be provided, together with various connection thread sizes.

A small footprint minimises the sender's weight and risk of damage.

Capable of being used in fuel tanks, engine oil sumps and coolant reservoirs, the sender can be used in all engine fluids.

The sender can operate at shallow liquid depths of 90mm and up to a maximum length of 500mm, and provides an automotive Packard-style connector.

It is also capable of operating accurately in environments of up to 125C.
