Forming Technologies has appointed Rand North America as its newest Catia solution distribution partner.

Forming Technologies has appointed Rand North America, a joint venture of Dassault Systemes and Rand Worldwide, as its newest Catia solution distribution partner.

"Partnering with our customers to help them improve quality and increase efficiency to enhance their competitive position within the manufacturing marketplace is the fundamental core of Rand North America", said Brian Semkiw, CEO Rand North America.

"Acting as a distribution partner for FTI will expand the suite of software applications available to our clients and help to extend our relationships with them".

"FTI's products will provide our clients with new options to reduce material and labour costs enhance their production processes and bring new products to market more quickly".

"This agreement is consistent with our growth strategy of offering our customers localised sales and support", said Michael Gallagher, VP Sales and Marketing of Forming Technologies.

"Rand North America and FTI have similar core values and corporate philosophies and an underlying desire to bring value to the bottom line for our customers".

Rand North America will act as a distributor of Forming Technologies' full product suite to its manufacturing customer base.
