Frost and Sullivan will host its prestigious Emerging Technologies Awards Banquet on Tuesday 5th December 2006 at the Crowne Plaza London - St James Hotel.

The awards banquet will honour companies and individuals for innovative developments, outstanding performances and achievements in emerging technologies within major industries.

Among the awards to be presented are the Excellence in Technology of the Year Award, Product Innovation Award and Technology Innovation Award.

Rajiv Kumar, Global Vice President and Partner, Frost and Sullivan will deliver the welcome address.

"One of the main aims of Frost and Sullivan is to acknowledge outstanding industry achievements and demonstration of best practices by presenting awards to top companies in regional and global markets", says Kumar.

"Our industry experts recognise the diligence and innovation required to implement a successful business plan and excel in the increasingly competitive global marketplace".

Following this will be the keynote presentation by Matthew Hill, leading coach, consultant and intercultural trainer for multinational businesses.

The topic of Hill's presentation will be "Investing in Central Europe - why now?", where he will explore the challenges and opportunities offered by the EU's newest member states.

The evening will culminate in a glittering Awards presentation ceremony that will recognise exceptional performers across the emerging technologies spectrum in various industrial sectors.

Over 20 awards will be presented in fields such as homeland security, ambient intelligence, e-mail firewalls, reproductive monitoring and 3G-network technologies.

Award recipients include AltoBridge, Aquanova, Eurotech, Emitall Surveillance, Nice Systems, Siemens, Power Transmission and Distribution, Bizanga and DxS.
