Mabuza succeeds Meyer at Foster Wheeler
Themba Mabuza has been appointed Managing Director of Foster Wheeler South Africa (FWSA), succeeding Mark Meyer who retired at the end of last year after 25 years with the company.

This year's Altair Technology Conference will take place on 2nd November at the Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon.
It is located at Midrand, midway between Johannesburg and Pretoria.
"Meyer made a significant contribution to the growth and development of FWSA, most recently in the role of Managing Director, which he held for more than ten years," said Keith Batchelor, Chairman of FWSA.
Mabuza joined Foster Wheeler in 1997 as Senior Process Engineer, and was promoted to Proposals Manager.
He was appointed to the board as Operations Director in January 2005.
Mabuza started his engineering career with AECI, a specialty products and services company, followed by Sentrachem, a South African chemicals company which is now part of Dow.
He has a degree in chemical engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa.
Since 2003, Mabuza has also been Chairman of the Services Sector Education and Training Authority, a parastatal organisation established to ensure that the skills needs of the services sector in South Africa are identified and addressed.
