Chinese order further fluidised beds
Subsidiaries of Foster Wheeler's Global Power Group have been awarded a contract by a unit of the China National Petrochemical Corp to supply two 75MWe circulating fluidised-bed boilers.

Foster Wheeler's contract is valued at approximately $22 million and will be included in first-quarter 2006 bookings.
The state-of-the-art, petroleum coke-fired boilers will be designed by Foster Wheeler International Engineering and Consulting (Shanghai) and manufactured by Foster Wheeler Power Machinery at its facility in Xinhui, China.
The Qingdao project, located on the eastern coast of Shandong Province, is part of SINOPEC's continuing programme of refinery expansion.
The boilers will be similar in design to Foster Wheeler boilers currently under construction at SINOPEC's Yanshan Petrochemical Plant.
Commissioning of the Qingdao boilers is expected in 2007.
