BP contract confirms long track record
Foster Wheeler Iberia has been awarded a contract by BP Oil Refineria de Castellon for a 43.5MW double-fired Terrace-Wall delayed coker heater for the Castellon Refinery in Spain.

The project was included in Foster Wheeler's second-quarter 2006 bookings.
The Foster Wheeler Terrace-Wall delayed coker heater is an integral component of the Foster Wheeler Selective Yield Delayed Coking process technology, which was selected by BP for the new coker.
Foster Wheeler completed the process design package and front-end engineering design for the new coker, and has also been awarded the detailed engineering, procurement and construction supervision for the new coker under a separately announced contract.
"We are very pleased with this latest award from BP, which confirms our long track record and experience in the design of delayed coker heaters, the heart of the Foster Wheeler delayed coking process", commented Jesus Cadenas, Managing Director, Foster Wheeler Iberia.
"Since 1965, Foster Wheeler Iberia has designed and supplied eleven heaters for the BP Castellon Refinery and has been involved in many of the major projects carried out in this refinery".
Foster Wheeler is a market leader in the supply of delayed coking fired heaters and has supplied more than 80 units worldwide.
