Engineering leaders set up non-profit company

A Frazer-Nash Consultancy product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Sep 15, 2008

A not-for-profit company called CFMS has been established to bring about a step change in engineering design simulation processes.

The company has been set up by Airbus, BAE Systems, Frazer-Nash Consultancy, MBDA UK, Rolls-Royce and Williams F1.

As products become more complex and as organisations strive to reduce environmental impact, this will be an essential factor in business success.

With engineers looking to technology providers to deliver more powerful simulation processes, the CFMS member companies believe these are best developed by the end-users working closely with those developing such technology.
