Connector runs into pressure vessels
Available now from Fischer Connectors is a range of rear-mounting connectors that hold pressure inside a vessel.

These microminiature connectors have been tested with a hydraulic oil pressure of 8000lb/in2 and left overnight at 5000lb/in2.
No electrical or mechanical faults were reported.
The DBPE is available in seven different shell sizes with PCB or solder connectors.
Insulation material is Peek, O-rings are Viton, and contacts are plated to QQ-N-290/MIL-G-45204.
This style of connector is IP68-rated unmated but for vacuum or higher pressure they are individually checked nondestructively prior to shipment with helium tracer gas, similar to MIL1344 and IEC60068-2-17 test QK values of less than or equal to 10-9mbar.
The smallest shell size, the 102 series, can be supplied with seven contacts.
The largest shall size, the 107 series, offers up to 55 contacts.
With either PCB or solder connectors the connectors can be prewired for ease of manufacturing.
A special tool to fit the decorative securing nut is available, to make secure mechanical and pressure-tight connection into the chassis mounting hole.
A DBPU IP68 version is also available which has many military applications in tactical radios, GPS and sensor equipment where continuous immersion at up to 1m water depth and operation at temperatures down to -50C are required.
