The WSO Series right-angle plug replaces the now obsolete WS and WSE Series with performance, cost and convenience benefits.

The WSO Series plug is 30% lighter than previous models, and up to 10% smaller than previous sealed models.

Nevertheless, its completely new design greatly improves mechanical strength at reduced cost.

A broached body substantially increases resistance to unintentional rotation of the contact block.

WSO Series 102, 103, 1031, 104 and 105 right-angled plugs deliver application flexibility through suitability for use either unsealed or sealed to IP68 and availability of four cable orientations.

The plugs are silver-chrome or black-chrome plated, and are compatible with all Fischer standard sockets, accessories and assembly tools.

Guide marks facilitate alignment of plug to mating receptacle.

The new SS Series and SSC Series short plugs further strengthen Fischer's position in applications, such as military, demanding a high-quality, rugged and compact solution.

They feature an innovative design and lightweight, miniature construction for applications requiring space saving, high pin density configurations.

The 102 series, for example, is available with up to nine pins in a 9mm diameter.

Specifically designed for field applications, SS and SSC Series 102, 103, 1031, 104, 105 and 1051 miniature plugs withstand temperatures from -55 to +135C.

They are useable unsealed or sealed to IP68, depending on the choice of heatshrink, shaped or overmoulded cable attachment.

Security and reliability are provided by Fischer's patented automatic locking system in the SS Series, or Clic-Loc emergency breakaway system in the SSC Series, both rated for more than 5000 mating cycles.

Electrical integrity is assured by 360-degree EMC shielding.

SS and SSC Series plugs are available silver-chrome or black-chrome plated, and are intermateable with all Fischer standard sockets.

On stand, these new plugs will join a representative selection of Fischer's state-of-the-art connection solutions, which are tailored to the requirements of the most demanding applications in military, medical, broadcast, telecommunications and industrial instrumentation applications.
