The Gimatic range of modular automation components has been complemented with valuable additions in the shape of the mini slide Z and the maxi slide L The Z modules with bores of 8 mm and 16 mm respectively are optionally available with shock absorbers and have adjustable stroke lengths of 25 mm, 50 mm and 150 mm

These light weight and compact units are made from aluminium extrusions with a built-in rigid guidance system consisting of hardened steel rods, slide ram and recirculating ball bearings.

This innovative design created a fast moving precision slide with high stiffness and a repeatability of plus and minus 0.02 mm.

Small two or three axis pick and place units are easily built by bolting two or three slides together without the need of adapter plates.

One or two mini Z's can be bolted onto the rodless cylinder driven carriage of a maxi L and bingo, you have a two axis multi position gantry pick and place machine.

The maxi L is a self supporting slide unit made from anodised extruded aluminium with an integrated 40 mm bore rodless cylinder and a large smooth moving carriage, guided by recirculating ball bearings on hardened steel rails.

The L slide and is available with stroke length of 300 mm, 500 mm, 1000 mm and 2000 mm.

Standard equipment includes shock absorbers, cable and hose carrier, electrical and pneumatic connection box and the stopping units, which provide the possibility of several adjustable and programmable intermediate positive stop positions.
