Invariably for different reasons but company accountants as well as design engineers should find the new compact grippers from FS Engineering attractive.

FS Engineering's compact gripper range includes high-quality parallel and angular double acting, self centring and lightweight units suitable for pick and place applications involving small parts PPM parallel grippers come in four sizes with gripping forces from 50 to 185N

A lever system provides smooth and accurate motion for the steel jaws in their roller bearing guides.

With a body height of 45mm for the smallest unit and weighing 75g, the PPC super compact parallel grippers include similar features but are fully enclosed, preventing dirt from entering the gripper mechanism.

This model is suitable for use in clean assembly areas.

PAP angular grippers are available in four sizes with a robust steel lever system providing jaw angles from -10 to + 30 degrees and a torque range from 0.48 to 2Nm.

The gripper bodies are made in hard anodised aluminium and include multiple mounting holes and slots for the optional position sensors.
