Jargon buster cuts through the ATEX jungle
ABB has published an "ATEX jargon buster" that helps motor users cut through the jungle of terms and definitions that make up the new ATEX Directives.
We are also very pleased that nearly 30% of 2003 exhibitors are either entirely new or did not exhibit at last year's show, so our annual visitors are sure to find plenty of new opportunities as well as catching up with regular stands".
2003 will also see the introduction of new features to ensure visitors are really well informed, when the industry is seeing unprecedented change.
A full seminar programme is planned in a special designed forum in the show hall, with invited speakers and exhibitors providing insights into a range of fastener and fixing issues.
Wednesday 21st May will also see the first Fastener Fair gala dinner to be staged a hotel venue close to the exhibition centre.
Ramsdale, commented, "We want to provide an opportunity for the industry, exhibitors and visitors alike, to network in a convivial and relaxing atmosphere.
The event will include high quality entertainment guaranteed to boost the industry's spirits".
Tickets will be available to companies, wanting to reserve tables to entertain their guests, and individuals in the fastener, fixings and tools supply industry.
Continued expansion of low cost European air links from nearby East Midlands airports are expected to further boost the international aspect of the show which will be in it's 9th year.
"With so many changes in the industry", says Ramsdale, "a deal made face-to-face and sealed with a handshake has never been so valuable.
It means you know the people so you can build on success or sort out the occasional problem.
Donington remains a popular and accessible venue at the heart of the UK and 2003 will confirm the Fastener Fair as the premier European show dedicated to the fastener and fixing industry".
