Every year the Fastener Fair is different, and 2003 is definitely no exception.

There are more than 50 different exhibitors to last year, including 25 "first timers".

This year the Fastener Zone offers an even wider cross-section of UK and European fastener manufacturing, ranging from high-tensile hexagonal and socket products, through special nuts and washers, to rivet nuts and inserts for plastic applications.

In addition to suppliers of every conceivable fastening system, there are many specialist solutions providers able to recommend innovation approaches to achieve efficiency gains and cost-down benefits in all kinds of materials and applications.

In the Tool Zone, brand leaders in hand, power and installation tools will be unveiling new products and demonstrating the advantages of their ranges.

In the MFP Zone there will be demonstrations of counting and packaging systems for all types of components.

"With so many changes in fastening technology", says show organiser Jerry Ramsdale, "a day at Donington offers a valuable, cost and time efficient, opportunity to see new possibilities first-hand and discuss applications face-to-face".

The 2003 Fastener Fair will be held on 21st and 22nd May at Donington International Exhibition Centre.

Potential visitors can preregister on the organiser's website.
