Jargon buster cuts through the ATEX jungle
ABB has published an "ATEX jargon buster" that helps motor users cut through the jungle of terms and definitions that make up the new ATEX Directives.
The award was a fitting recognition for the outstanding results of a GBP 9 million transformation the exhibition and conference centre has undergone.
Fastener Fair organiser, Jerry Ramsdale commented: "In May, we made the difficult decision to relocate from a venue that had been closely associated with the Fastener Fair from the beginning but which we felt had not invested in providing an environment that matched and supported the professionalism of our exhibitors.
This award has demonstrated that the Telford International Centre has done exactly that and we are looking forward to an outstanding event in May 2004".
Ramsdale is in no doubt that the quality of the new venue has contributed strongly to bookings well ahead of previous years, with over 100 fastener, fixings and tools exhibitors from across Europe already committed to Fastener Fair 2004 by the beginning of December.
The choice of Telford International Centre also means that Fastener Fair is able to build on the success of its 2003 inaugural gala dinner.
"For Fastener Fair 2004 we will be able to host the dinner at the actual exhibition venue", says Ramsdale, "and the excellent availability and range of hotel accommodation in Telford will make it much easier for exhibitors and visitors alike to relax and enjoy a great networking opportunity".
Fastener Fair 2004 will be held on 16th and 17th May - opening for the first time on a Sunday-Monday to make it easier for owners and managers who find it increasingly difficult to get away during the working week.
In addition to its excellent link the UK motorway system, Telford has a rail connection to the centre of Birmingham and to the city's international airport.
"Telford also offers", says Ramsdale, "superb shopping, leisure and heritage opportunities that make a Sunday visit attractive for the whole of the family".
