The 2005 Distributor Fairs are billed as the most time-effective and cost-efficient way for distributors and suppliers to meet.

They are about tools, bearings, lubricants, fasteners and fixings, safety products, adhesives and chemicals - the huge range of engineering and construction products sold through local distribution.

These days many suppliers to the trade don't have a big sales force and even the big outfits count the cost of having people on the road.

But, although an order can be handled on the net or phone, there's still no substitute for doing business face-to-face.

The Distributor Fairs deliver a cost and time effective answer.

Each show is a one-day regional event.

Exhibitors arrive in the morning; there's a simple shell scheme waiting to be dressed; access is easy; and setup is simple and quick.

Each show begins at 1030 and ends at 1600: no hotel accommodation, no wasted time - just a focused opportunity to sell to a wide mix of distributors and stockists within an hour's travelling of the venue.

The first 2005 Distributor Fair will be held at Sheffield on 12th April, with a second show at Newbury in October.

They're easy to get to, parking is free, and in just a couple of hours visitors can review a wide range of products and opportunities from new and existing suppliers, and do some real business.
