The fastener market is booming in Eastern Europe, increasing attendance at Fastener Fair Stuttgart.

Located in the very centre of Europe's industrial heartlands, Fastener Fair Stuttgart is attracting visitors from all over Europe.

"We can see from the numbers of industry professionals who have pre-registered that many of them are coming from the booming markets of Eastern Europe and Russia", says Exhibition Organiser Jerry Ramsdale.

He notes that the demand for fasteners and fixings of all types is growing, and says he is not surprised at the interest from Eastern Europe: "If you look at Poland alone, you can see that industrial output for 2007 is forecast to rise by between 10 and 13%", explains Ramsdale.

Figures from Poland's Central Statistical Office show a strong 5.6% year-on-year increase in industrial output for June.

And this is an average figure, which doesn't show the substantial growth there has been in the manufacturing, machinery, metal products and construction sectors.

"This growth is being reflected all over eastern Europe, also extending to Russia and the Ukraine", says Ramsdale.

"Plus, of course, the picture in western Europe looks very good, too, with many sectors considerably increasing their demand for fasteners and fixings".

Visitors to the show, which takes place at Messe Stuttgart Killesberg on Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th September 2007, will have plenty to see.

"This show just keeps on growing and we now have 429 exhibitors from 37 countries, representing every sector of the global fasteners and fixings industry" ", says Ramsdale.

Industry professionals who pre-register on the show website before 5th September 2007 will enjoy free fast-track VIP entrance, an event catalogue and exclusive pre-show information to help them make the most of their visit to Fastener Fair Stuttgart and to the city itself.
