FA-ST has recently been appointed as a UK installer and distributor for the Kleenoil product range of oil filtration bypass units, filters and filter rigs.
Oil sampling aids condition monitoring
Following the appointment in 2004 of FA-ST as a distributor for the Kleenoil, oil filtration product range, FA-ST has now added further products and services for the oil using industries.
Many manufacturers specify that all new oil should be filtered during replacement operations to their machines and this unit ensures that no contamination is transferred during routine services, oil changes and 'topping up' procedures.
The unit is mounted in a robust steel frame with carry handles and can be operated direct from service vans, mobile plant, boats and/or a battery trolley and is available with a 12 or 24V DC motor.
The durable rotary gear pump with built in safety bypass valve is is fitted with an on/off switch and pressure gauge.
The frame measures 270 x 240 x 320mm.
The unit is self-priming and operates on 30 minute cycles at 4bar and will process SAE 10W hydraulic oil at nine litres per minute, SAE 15W 40 engine oil at seven litres per minute and SAE 75W 90 gear oil at six litres per minute.
The filter cartridge will remove all particle contamination to 3 micron absolute and all free and emulsified water.
For the transfer of new oil the cartridge should be changed every 200-250 hours.
The cartridge will retain 0.75 litres of water and approximately 1.200kg of solid particulates.
The unit is supplied complete with filter cartridge and 3m suction and return lines fitted with quick release couplings.
