FTL Seals Technology has just undertaken a major customer satisfaction survey which provided valuable feedback along with an insight into what FTL Seal's customers wanted from a supplier

FTL Seals Technology has just undertaken a major customer satisfaction survey to examine what customers think of the service.

FTL Seals Technology founded in 1973, offers UK industry a range of products that by design, leak less, last longer and run smoother.

The survey results provided valuable feedback along with an insight into what FTL Seal's customers wanted from a supplier.

Addressing all this information meant that FTL Seals Technology have been able to identify potential areas for improvement and as a result are now preparing a presentation to provide customers with a greater understanding of what they can offer.

Tony Snowdon, Marketing and Technical Director for FTL Seals said: "The results have clear implications for our own development and we are now looking at ways of adapting our strengths to give effective continued support for customers." The survey involved interviews with over 50 major customers and focused on current customer perceptions of FTL Seals key strengths and areas that could be improved.

The survey also investigated how customers saw their own strategic development and direction.

Improvements, which FTL Seals have already undertaken, include a substantial investment into 3-Dimensional Computer Aided Design.

Difficulties in portraying design ideas and explaining design features to customers is not uncommon but with the installation of the latest Autodesk Inventor software this should now be a thing of the past.

The software not only optimises design efficiency but allows the FTL Seal designers to enhance the function of engineered products by applying form and being able to model complete assemblies.

Tony Snowdon comments: "Over several meetings, involving all FTL Seals managers, a strategy focusing on customer satisfaction has been developed." Tony adds: "Our intention is to keep our customers happy and to assist them with sustained business growth and profit.".
