Now available from FTL Seals Technology, the Glycodur range of plain bearings have always been free of lead and other materials which could damage the environment and are manufactured without the aid of solvents.

In a recent customer survey four leading companies all agreed that lead should not be used in components of a product.

Legislation states that the End of Life Vehicles (ELV) Order/ com (97) 358/ issued by the European Union recommends that no lead be used in motor vehicles, after a transitional period, due to its well known toxic effects.

The Glycodur range of products can be used in various applications including; automotive, railroad vehicles, aerospace, construction machinery, domestic appliances, hospital equipment, agricultural machinery, paper and textile and pumps and valves to name a few.
