This will enable customers to identify which bearing will suit particular applications so that the optimum choice can be made when considering: Load, Friction, Duty and Cost.
In addition to the brochure a trained in-house engineering team is on hand to answer any queries or questions you may have.
Sealing know how teaches us that the life of a sealing element is dependent upon the integrity of the components immediately surrounding the seal.
Invariably components are being used in the sealing of a rotary or reciprocating shaft.
The shaft, must at some point, be supported by a bearing arrangement.
FTL Seals have a wide experience of bearing design, coupled with the correct seal to achieve maximum service life.
The FTL Seals bearings range includes; metal backed bushes which incorporate a sintered dynamic load bearing surface incorporating PTFE or other polymers on bronze, are available, in many standard sizes and are interchangeable with the leading brand.
* A metal impregnated graphite bearing that is widely used in the centrifugal pump industry.
* A range of rolling element bearings, modified to include an in-built high temperature solid lubricant.
This type of bearing is widely used in the steel industry and other high temperature processes.
* Sintered bronze bearings with inbuilt lubricant, which is replaced as a hydrodynamic film under rotating motion.
