FTL Technology has announced the availability of its Mechanical Face Seal Design Guide.
The guide contains details on seal design, modes of operation, adapter rings, differing styles of seal, material specifications, lubrication and maintenance, determination of setting gaps, applications and installation.

Mechanical face seals, also known as duo-cone seals, are found in off-road, mining, military and agricultural applications.
