Big Greek navy order for valve manufacturer

Truflo Marine Valves FCX has been selected by Vosper Thornycroft to supply all of the general valves for three Fast Attack Craft currently being built for the Greek Navy by Elefsis Shipyards in Greece

Truflo Marine Valves FCX has been selected by Vosper Thornycroft to supply all of the general valves for three Fast Attack Craft currently being built for the Greek Navy by Elefsis Shipyards in Greece to a Vosper Thornycroft design.

Comprising some 500 valves per ship, the package will include ball, butterfly, check, globe and storm types.

An established supplier of valve packages to shipbuilders around the world, Truflo Marine Valves FCX has demonstrated high levels of performance and expertise in managing projects such as the Landing Platform Dock and Auxiliary Oiler contracts for BAe Systems.

The company was also recently selected by BAE as single-source valve supplier for the Astute-class submarine.
