Futek Advanced Sensor Technology (Futek) presents the improved LCF400 pancake load cell.
The design is now being offered with a USB digital interface and is the latest product to be added to the Futek USB Sensor Solutions product line.
Along with its USB output and metric threads capabilities, the LCF400 features structural changes and complete welding, which improves the model's output symmetry and accuracy.
The model is offered in 500 to 5,000lbs, various outputs (3mV/V, +/-5V DC, +/-10V DC, 4-20mA), and uses heat-treated 17-4 stainless steel construction for optimal performance.
The LCF400 offers zero-joint failure, low impact due to extraneous loads, and has the capability of handling off-centre loading more efficiently.
Typical applications include fatigue and endurance testing where long performance cycles are required.
The LCF400 pancake load cell model has female/female threads and utilises metal foil strain gauge technology that offers high accuracy.
It has nonlinearity of +/-0.10 per cent, bridge resistance of 700ohms, and deflection of 0.002 to 0.005in nominal.
The LCF400 pancake load cell can be modified or customised to meet specific requirements and most models are in the inventory making them available for quick delivery.
